What's inside a computer?

Video Card

The graphics card acts as an intermediary component between the computer and monitor.

This component manages all the information that is to be displayed on screen. Graphics cards contain a small processor that performs many graphics-related operations in place of the microprocessor (CPU).

Graphics cards also include RAM memory. Monitor colours and resolution modes depend on the memory size.
