From 1970 to 1995, the Digital Equipment Corporation company (DEC) produced more than twenty text terminal models, consoles connected to a computer enabling multiple users to interact independently and simultaneously with the computer.

This, one of the most popular models, was one of the 35 terminals in use at the Facultad de Informática’s Computer Centre until 2002.
